Though their reputation precedes them for NOT being team players,especially when it comes to things like approving Presidential nominations so the business of government can proceed--

The Republicans were team players last night at Nationals Ball Park. At the 49th Annual Congressional Baseball Game they got slammed by the Democrats, 13-5. The sole woman on the field, Democrat Linda Sanchez, served as a pinch hitter and broke the tie in the 7th inning, paving the Democrats path to victory.

The annual event raised funds for The Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Washington .
