Yesterday morning, I stood giddily gaping through the kitchen window; there were four (!) FOUR blue jays aflutter out back with robins, crows and a cardinal. The deep freeze has thawed, hints of spring are in the air and I got a hammock time preview at 40 degrees. Woo Hoo! Soon I'll be wreaking havoc in my yard again!

It's the simple things. Don't take them for granted.
