In Inauguration News: Better Bring a Wetsuit!
This afternoon the Secret Service announced that bridge crossings from Virginia into DC will be closed starting midday on 1/19. Only buses, or emergency vehicles will be allowed to drive across the bridge. If you're familiar with this area, you may know that crossing a bridge is a must to get to DC from Virginia--either that or swimming the Potomac!

Best bet for getting into DC from VA is taking the beltway to MD and entering from there. Then you have two options: New York Avenue and Benning Road. If you take those you will be able to get as for as 11th Street. Basically 23rd to 11th Street will be closed till 7pm on 1/20
